GAT-Ship and Flagship signed a joint marketing agreement for Port Call System
GAT-Ship AS, Porsgrunn, Norway and Flagship Inc, Maryland, USA signed a joint marketing agreement for GAT-Ship's Port Call System in the U.S. and Canadian region.
Porsgrunn/Rockville, June 25th 2008 Maryanne Kirkemoen Slette, CEO and President of GAT-Ship AS, based in Porsgrunn, Norway and Lasse V. Syversen, CEO and President of Flagship by Bloksberg Inc, based in Maryland, U.S.A. announced today a partnership were Flagship has become the agent for GAT-Ship's Port Call System in the US and Canada. GAT-Ship AS will also develop a link from their system to Flagship's SHIPS*AMS Service allowing their users, worldwide, to submit their manifest data to the US and Canadian Customs directly from the Port Call System.

Maryanne Kirkemoen Slette, CEO and President of GAT-Ships AS remarks that the joint partner agreement with Flagship, a company with more than 20 years of experience in the American market will give GAT-Ship access to existing and new customers and secure quality support. Furthermore, we will add a new service to our existing program and give our customers a secure and efficient documentation system for transfer of Customs data to US and Canada through Flagship's SHIPS*AMS System. Ms Kirkemoen Slette also states that the partnership is a perfect fit of the two companies with long standing shipping expertise and dedicated team members.
